In this project, Zara Saberi works with sculptural guipure lace to create garments that move between opposing states: delicacy and strength, vulnerability and seduction, exposure and control.

Rather than resolving these contradictions, the work holds them in tension, revealing the body not as a fixed statement but as a continual negotiation between what has been imposed and what is freely chosen.
